Semester's Beginning

Here's to the beginning of the semester! It's always an exciting time, because despite all of the planning and preparation, things never seem to turn out exactly as we expect them to. I look forward to the surprises, and optimistically assume that my students will enjoy them, too. As is usually the case, I needed to experiment with new assignments this semester, so we'll all be in for a treat as we learn to do new things together.
